He owned and ran a successful business and lived for his family. A Florida resident of over 50 years, he was born in Montreal, Canada on September 19, 1944. Morton Smith, 73, of Hallandale Beach passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, March 13. Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 15th at 3pm at the Gardens of Boca Raton.
Hernando was preceded in death by his son, Fernando Giraldo. He also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews. Hernando was an avid golfer, voracious reader, and a fiercely supportive family man.
He was also a devoted husband and father, whose greatest pride and joy were his children and grandchildren. He was a gifted and dedicated physician, loved by all. Plans are pending for a Celebration of Life later in the spring. She also delighted in joking around with family members, especially her late sisters Rachel Hall and Pat Stevenson. She loved nothing better than to cook for a big group and spend time together, especially at the beach. Although gifted with many talents, Bobbie’s greatest joy was family and friends. She’s also survived by six grandchildren: Renee Bell, Dana Creel, Scott Cummings, Michael Dudley, Kyle Lacy and Kip Lacy, along with seven great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and a younger sister, Nancy Elder. (Sandy) of Sunrise, FL Connie Lacy (Doug) of Atlanta and Susan Montgomery (George) of Sanford, NC. Bobbie is survived by three children: Hugh Dudley Jr. She lived in the Fayetteville, NC house she and her husband bought in 1956 until she moved to the Atlanta area in 2009. Then she held several Civil Service jobs at Fort Bragg, NC. She was a stay-at-home mom until her children were in their teens. Dorsey died in 2002 just a few years after they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. She married her childhood sweetheart, Hugh Dorsey Dudley, in 1948. She graduated from Royston High School and attended Young Harris College. Bobbie Sue Parham Dudley was born in Madison County, Georgia in 1930 to Cyrus and Azalee Kelly Parham. Bobbie died Maafter a fifteen–year struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease.
Much loved by family and friends, Bobbie Dudley was known for her generous heart, her sense of humor and her creative flair. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the cancer organization of your choice Natalie will be laid to rest with her mother in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. A gathering will be held on March 24, 2018, from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 10:00 AM at Brett Funeral Home, 4810 – Central Avenue, St. Predeceased by her mother and father, she is survived by her Aunt Diane (Reggie) and step-father George Howe, and extended family. A previous Pinellas County resident, after graduating Clearwater Central Catholic, Natalie’s limited career incorporated marketing roles for a variety of companies, primarily in South Florida. Natalie was born in Largo, FL, the only daughter of Donna L. Natalie Grand, of Cooper City, died February 19 unexpectedly at home.
